after what seems like eons, heres a small update.
lotsa stuff going on behind the scenes. best check (and like!) my facebook page or just stay alert.
lots of people think that shooting skate-photos is simply going out and pressing a button. but no, theres more. forcing people to do stuff they dont want to, laying in the dirt and giant dogs trying to eat your face. this day had it all.
but first things first: preparation of the spot. Johannes unscrews the rail while Lukas checks the fabric of his shirt. #teamwork
sometimes you just gotta jump on your bike and join a random session somewhere. especially if you get the chance to smell the sweat of handsome bastards like Julian. Continue reading “dorking around.”
due to the tragic event 2 weeks ago, goskateboarding day in Graz was moved to this sunday.
quick recap: it was damn hot, and fun. no photos here, sorry. just remember a group of guys skating together, sweaty, dirty, happy, surrounded by pissed off drug dealers, bums, and flies. also, Phil Gosch won the Game of Skate. consistency, good looks, women, money, he has it all.
this motivated some guys so much that we went street skating afterwards. Lukas Oswald had some open business with the Resowi-ledge that had to be settled. watch him fly here:
having a knee problem sucks. having a knee problem when the first warm and sunny days of spring are coming up pretty much compares to being kidnapped and forced to sleep with your mom while your dad is watching. think about that for a while, then go on reading this blog update.
done? done thinking about your mom? okay.
talking about your mom, here is herwig. herwig is old and grumpy, but beautiful on the inside (see, like mommy.) here he is sliding a 100km/h bs lipslide. yes!
i am jumping ahead here. if you want to know what happened the last 24h, please check this out: http://www.weartested.com/supra-avex-weartest-in-barcelona/
if not, let me show you the aftermath of the Supra Footwear party:
shortly after the first spot, it started to rain. so we went and got some wonderful Estrella and wandered the streets of Badalona, looking for spots. and food. we did find spots, but goddamn it, spanish people dont like to work on rainy days. after what felt like walking all the way to great britain on foot, we decided to just buy noodles at a supermarket and cook them at the hostel.
where we decided to order pizza.
have you tried ordering pizza without speaking Catalan? its fun. you yell some english words at your phone, some old guy yells something in catalan, and after 30 minutes of wondering if our order actually came through the pizza arrived. yay.
