shortly after the first spot, it started to rain. so we went and got some wonderful Estrella and wandered the streets of Badalona, looking for spots. and food. we did find spots, but goddamn it, spanish people dont like to work on rainy days. after what felt like walking all the way to great britain on foot, we decided to just buy noodles at a supermarket and cook them at the hostel.
where we decided to order pizza.
have you tried ordering pizza without speaking Catalan? its fun. you yell some english words at your phone, some old guy yells something in catalan, and after 30 minutes of wondering if our order actually came through the pizza arrived. yay.

recently, the rural city of Graz had royal visitors. one royal visitor, to be precise. Jan Federer, from Vienna. yes, the famous city, filled with fiaker, schnitzel and buttloads of culture. we gave our best and showed him around, trying to refresh his memories of years he lost here. because he lives in Vienna now. a better life. a more urban life.

so, as predicted by me, this entry is about a wedding. in Oulu. the far north. of finland. *insertthenorthshallrisepunhere*
naturally, we expected snow, igloos, reindeers, eskimos, northern lights, santa clause and lonely drunk eremites, or in short: finnish summer.
only .. like.. 4 of those cliches were actually proven wrong.
first off, the wedding was a blast, the bride (and the groom) were beautiful, happy and looked like 100 bucks. here, see for yourself.

this saturday, the musichouse graz saw something that was bigger than expected: not your moms butt, but the ResErection of the Turbojugend Graz! the party was a blast, some people dont remember anything, others nothing, short: it was a success. here are the pictures, aesthetically pleasing and highly artsy (as in “boring and not creative”).
THANKS to everybody that showed up, see you guys soon.
Also, thanks to the bands:
Heroes´n Ghosts played a The Clash Coverset
Sadly i couldnt take any pictures of the Heroes´n Ghosts show cause i had to secure to entrance and collect bribes and stuff… but i heard they were as amazing as always! Continue reading “ResErection!”
there was this skatecontest this weekend, right? i shot a few pictures. not too many since i was judging there too. and let me tell you, its hard to be back in a world where the ranking, maybe even the life, of people isn´t influenced by me. now i know how George W. Bush must feel.
Joel, pre-contest-judges-session. you can pretty much feel the weight of the world on his shoulders.
