shortly after the first spot, it started to rain. so we went and got some wonderful Estrella and wandered the streets of Badalona, looking for spots. and food. we did find spots, but goddamn it, spanish people dont like to work on rainy days. after what felt like walking all the way to great britain on foot, we decided to just buy noodles at a supermarket and cook them at the hostel.
where we decided to order pizza.
have you tried ordering pizza without speaking Catalan? its fun. you yell some english words at your phone, some old guy yells something in catalan, and after 30 minutes of wondering if our order actually came through the pizza arrived. yay.

recently, the rural city of Graz had royal visitors. one royal visitor, to be precise. Jan Federer, from Vienna. yes, the famous city, filled with fiaker, schnitzel and buttloads of culture. we gave our best and showed him around, trying to refresh his memories of years he lost here. because he lives in Vienna now. a better life. a more urban life.

soo, its indoor season again. and as much as i hate this skatehall, its better than skating a shitty curb in a windy parking garage. on the other hand, its the perfect chance to play around with my flash and try stuff.

this summer, Gabriel came up to me and told me that he wanted to die. so i brought him to the biggest kink-rail i knew around here, in the middle of racist drug addicts, homeless immigrants and crazy children and told him to grind it. so there we are.
Philipp tried to film me, so i hid in my hole. i feel safe in my hole.

this summer, the wonderful town of Graz got blessed with a visit from the Supra team with the likes of Jim Greco, Chad Muska, Terry Kennedy, Neen Williams, Tom Penny and others, including a demo and in-shop signing. most of the guys were pretty tired from their tour schedule, but Terry Kennedy was too hyped to skate the biggest rail that we could offer him: the infamous Thalia 13. of course, once word got out at the signing, a giant crew of people wanted to witness this. (by the way, if you haven´t done that already, please check out my new site on FB: https://www.facebook.com/layingbreadcrumbs , thanks!)

had a nice night-session recently. i took photos. i will show them to you now. ready?
simons first try. it was dark, we had no light (dont be fooled by the flashes) and it basically seemed like jumping into a dark abyss.
at least that was what those guys used as explanations for their inability to land tricks. but we know better, right?
