believe it or not, there seem to be some sunny days in the far north. we just so happened to actually catch one during our 5 days up there. not bad for a season where the sun pretty much never goes down (unlike some boats, as shown here…)
anybody in need of hip analogue-look pictures? look no further.
theres sandy beaches everywhere. please also note that its not as cold as Eva makes it look. It was simply below 30 degrees celsius, hence the jacket.
people celebrate on the beaches there, too. apparently not with alcohol though… or somebody just had a really, really bad flu.
theres hardly any place left on the land (theres only 5km between each house, its crowded!), so they just build buildings on the water.
there could be worse views from your balcony, though.
fire. people in north make fire.
here is the National Wildlife Reserve for abandoned rocks. or a dam. who knows. there were hella pissed off seagulls there, thats for sure.
amazing beer! and only 4 euros in the supermarket. also: people swimming in 8° “warm” water. its a beach, after all!
children taking a leak in the streets. oh northern folk, thy life is simple.
next up: BEACH PARTY.
